These are some of the exciting events that your little ones are guaranteed to enjoy:

Christmas Crafts Session

On the 22nd December we will be hosting a fun craft session. These are run every school holiday by Joan, one of our brilliant volunteers, and are always very popular. The event takes place from 11-12:30 and will be perfect for getting your children into the spirit of Christmas, as well as allowing them to get creative. The cost is £3 per child, proceeds to the library, please book in the library.

The Art Locale

On the 8th January, the last of three amazing group art sessions run by local artist Hannah Hollingsworth will be taking place from 4:30-5:30. This is a session designed to be supportive, welcoming and encouraging of creativity. All ages from 8 to 16 are welcome. Hannah charges £15 per student. There are just ten spots available for the session, so make sure to book your child’s place. The sessions are run by secondary school art teacher Hannah and is a calming environment, perfect for your children to embrace their artistic side. Story and Rhyme Time

From the 8th January, Story and Rhyme Time will be taking place every Thursday (excluding 19th February) from 10-10:30am in the library. This will involve our volunteers reading your toddlers a story each week and leading fun rhymes, giving them the chance to join in and stay entertained. If you are in need of an entertaining weekday activity to take your little ones to, Story and Rhyme Time is the perfect choice. Free, but donations to the library are welcome.
