A history of the Quakers in Newcastle from 1654 to the present day – their places of worship, their business activities, campaigns and public life, and key individuals and families, such as the Tyzackes, Titterys, Richardsons, Pumphreys and Hodgkins.  The talk will also look at Quakers now.
