Sadly, Tier 4 restrictions mean that we can’t yet invite you to join us in the library during this first week of 2021. However, this doesn’t mean we’re not open for business!

Wellbeing for Life

We are delighted that the popular Wellbeing meetings are continuing. This month’s event at 10.30 AM on Wednesday 6th January is on the subject of avoiding scams.

This is a Zoom online meeting, so you need to email events@jesmondlibrary.org as soon as possible, in order to receive the Zoom link.

Speakers will include Andrew Hyde of the Northumbria Police, Ken Hines of Newcastle Building Society and Rhian Lukins of Northumbria University’s Project ICE.

Click and Collect

We are continuing to provide a Click & Collect service. If you would like to borrow a book then send your request by email to: enquiries@jesmondlibrary.org or telephone us on 0191 281 2385

Our volunteers will be in the library each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 2-4 PM when you can collect your chosen books from the library porch. Or if you live locally and are isolating then we may also be able to deliver books direct to your door.

Books to be returned can be brought to the library during those hours, or simply pop them through the letterbox in the back lane.
