Following recent clarification of the rules for operating during the coronavirus the trustees of the library are ready to trial a book collection service. We have a library full of amazing books and we are sure you are all keen to be able to borrow again. And please pass on the information to anyone who may not have internet access.

You can request books (no more than 3 per borrower) by email (enquiries@jesmondlibrary.org)  or telephone( 0191 281 2385).  We will then try to fulfill the requests and will leave the requested books on a table in the lobby of the library with the borrower’s name attached. Requests made by telephone will only be dealt with on Saturdays. We will also provide a form available in the lobby during the opening hours which may be completed and returned to the library.

The library lobby will be open from 3.00pm – 4.00pm on Thursdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays starting on 14th May. Borrowers may come to collect their books at these times but please note that only one person may be in the lobby at a time. There will also be a box for returned books.

The library catalogue is available athttps://eclipse.microlibrarian.net
